These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from it. By using the site or placing an order, you accept them. If you don’t agree with something here, please don’t use the site.
The short version. Order from us and we’ll make and send what you bought. Prices and delivery estimates are honest but not guarantees. Our designs are ours. If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to what you paid for that order.

1. Who we are

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Jay Patel, trading as Thread’s Lab. “You” means the person using the site or placing an order.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or using the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian, and legally capable of entering into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
3. Your account
If you create an account, you’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it.
We may suspend or close an account where we have reasonable grounds to believe it’s being used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.
4. Products, descriptions and images
We describe our products as accurately as we can, including fabric weight, composition and garment measurements.
Colour on a screen is not exact. Monitors, phone displays and lighting all shift colour, and fabric dye lots vary slightly between batches. A reasonable variation between the photograph and the item you receive is not a defect.
Garment measurements carry a manufacturing tolerance of roughly half an inch.
5. Pricing
All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping is shown separately at checkout.
We may change prices at any time, but the price applicable to your order is the one displayed when you place it.
Pricing errors. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or human error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after confirmation. We’ll tell you before doing so.
6. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we dispatch the item, not when you receive an order confirmation email.
We may decline or cancel an order where:
- The item is out of stock
- There’s a pricing or listing error
- We can’t verify your payment or delivery details
- We reasonably suspect fraud, or resale in breach of these terms
- The delivery address is outside our serviceable area
Where we cancel, you get a full refund. We are not liable for anything beyond that refund.
7. Payments
All orders are online payment or Cash on Delivery.
You can pay by UPI, credit or debit card, net banking or a wallet. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not collect or store your card details — those go directly to the gateway, which is PCI-DSS compliant.
If a payment fails but money leaves your account, it’s usually auto-reversed by your bank within 5–7 working days. We’ll help you trace it if it isn’t.
8. Delivery
Delivery timelines and shipping charges are set out on the Delivery Information page. Timelines are estimates based on our courier’s normal performance, not guarantees.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Providing a complete and correct delivery address is your responsibility, and we can’t be held liable for a parcel lost because of an incorrect address.
9. Returns and refunds

10. Intellectual property
All content on this site — designs, artwork, graphics, photographs, text, logos and layout — belongs to Jay Patel, trading as Thread’s Lab. or is used with permission, and is protected under Indian copyright and trademark law.
You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit any of it without our written permission. Copying our graphic designs for production is an infringement and we do pursue it.
Buying a t-shirt gives you ownership of that garment, not any right in the design printed on it.
11. Artwork you supply to us
For customised and bulk orders, you confirm that you own the artwork you send us, or have permission to use it, and that it doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from artwork you supplied. We may decline artwork we believe to be infringing, offensive or unlawful, and we’re not obliged to explain the decision.
12. Acceptable use
Don’t use this site to:
- Break any applicable law
- Interfere with the site’s operation or security
- Scrape, mine or copy content in bulk by automated means
- Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your connection to a person or business
- Post unlawful, defamatory or offensive content in reviews or comments
We may remove content and restrict access where these terms are breached.
13. Reviews and user content
By submitting a review, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display, reproduce and adapt it in connection with our business.
You’re responsible for what you write. We may decline or remove content that is unlawful, abusive, irrelevant or misleading, but we don’t edit reviews to remove criticism.
14. Third-party links
The site may link to other websites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profits, lost opportunities, or loss arising from delayed delivery. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
16. Force majeure
We’re not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, transport disruption, government action, epidemics, power failures and internet outages.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page when you place your order. The “last updated” date at the foot of this page tells you when it last changed.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Gandhinagar, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
